Job Summary:
- Monitors equipment and systems utilizing diagnostic tools to detect deviations from normal operating conditions and recommends corrective action
- Contributes to the preparation of scopes of work and execution of maintenance activities to achieve operational targets
- Participates in facilities and infrastructure audits to ensure asset integrity
- Critically examines equipment to be overhauled or repaired, identifies defects, records as-found conditions and deviations from standards, advises Mechanical Lead on probable cause of failure.
- Provides technical support to field activities in diagnostics and troubleshooting in line with
- industry standards and best practices and in a cost-effective manner
- Provides input in the process of contractor selection for maintenance jobs and repetitive service contracts
- Identifies and lists materials and spares required for assigned work
- Ensures compliance with Asset Management Systems and Procedures.
- Implements HSEQ standards and ensures adherence to same
- Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfill the job purpose
Qualifications & Experience:
- Technician Diploma (as related to discipline)
- Five (5) years relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience of electrical and instrumentation (as related discipline)
- Demonstrated experience of pumps and plant fitting-piping and structures (as related discipline)
